Last Friday, if you happened to be in the Dublin 4 area, you probably saw a sea of red T-shirts dashing down the streets and strand, roaring about solving a murder mystery. Amongst them was team Comit, taking part in the annual Techies4TempleStreet. Now in its fifth year, the event brings together 1,600 members of the Irish tech and business communities to raise funds for the 148,000 patients that Temple Street Children’s University Hospital treats every year. This year’s event raised a total of €250,000.
How important is it to measure public relations? Well, without it, PR professionals can’t determine which aspects of a strategy have worked and which haven’t quite had the desired impact. Public relations measurement is important both during and after a campaign as it gives PR professionals benchmarks to work from and allows them to adapt the approach.
The Comit team was delighted to see our client, DataSolutions, being recognised with the Communications Excellence Award at this year’s Tech Excellence Awards for an integrated PR, digital and marketing campaign promoting its hugely successful Secure Computing Forum 2018. Collaboration is a key pillar of what Comit, as a PR company does, and we were thrilled to be a central contributor to helping raise awareness of the Forum through this integrated PR and marketing campaign.
